The ROCLITE PRO MID GTX is our newest and most technical hiking model. But it's not a classic robust mountain bike. ROCLIT uses technologies known from running models, which make it lighter and more comfortable. This higher MID variant tightly wraps and protects the ankle, so you can easily venture into more challenging terrain.
And on challenging terrain, you need great stability from your shoes. This is secured by several elements on the upper. The first is the external reinforcement of the heel cup with molded TPU material that extends into the front of the shoe. The instep reinforcement is made of abrasion-resistant material, as is the protective toe reinforcement. Between the sole and the midsole is a flexible META-PLATE, which protects the feet from being punctured by sharp stones. The high-energy POWERFLOW MAX cushioning stands out for its comfort, energy return and dynamics.
The single-layer ballistic nylon upper is highly resistant to abrasion and features a GTX membrane to keep your feet dry. This is the widest WIDE version, providing ample space for your toes, especially when your feet swell after a day's hike. The sewn-in tongue fine-tunes the overall fit to perfection and prevents any pebbles from getting into the shoe.
The proven G-GRIP outsole with graphene has increased abrasion resistance and excellent grip on any surface.
