The Salomon Shelter CS WP winter boots will prove to be great during this coldest time of the year. Insulation, softshell upper material, ClimaSalomon membrane - this is the team that plays with you on cold days for one goal. Then there is the basic traction sole - as the name suggests, intended for winter footwear - Winter Contagrip®.
You will be surprised how light this shoe is despite the very robust winter shoe construction. The Salomon Shelter CS WP shoes provide your feet with thermal comfort at low temperatures without weighing them down. Salomon has done a great job here when it comes to balancing the shoe's traction, thermal and waterproofness with its weight.
This model is equipped with several improvements, in the front part it has a rubber reinforcement that protects the upper from the harmful effects of the impact of the front part of the shoe on sharp stones. The Advanced Chassis™ is responsible for proper heel hold and stabilization. The Mud Guard protective cover protects against mud entering the shoe.
The high upper is able to ensure proper stabilization of the ankle, making every step sure regardless of the conditions. The rubber tip is more resistant to damage when in contact with sharp and varied surfaces.
The ClimaSalomon™ membrane is designed to protect the feet from any moisture that may penetrate from the outside. The shoes have ClimaTherm™ insulation and the comfort temperature recommended by the manufacturer is approx. -2C.
EVA foam was used in the construction of the midsole, which results in higher cushioning. The Salomon Shelter CS WP winter boots are equipped with a Winter Contagrip® sole, which offers sufficient grip, which is especially important when moving on snowy city streets.
