Salewa Wildfire Edge shoes, premium navy/fluo yellow
This change is taken care of by the Salewa Switchfit lacing technology, where you simply tighten the lacing on the back eyelet and pull. The foot moves forward into the toe and the toes press together just like climbing shoes.
In the case of hiking, on the other hand, the back eyelet can simply be enabled.
To further increase climbing precision, the Wildfire Edge footbed also features a skid plate directly under the toes for additional directional stiffness, while the rest of the footbed remains flexible to ensure good comfort and a natural rolling motion.
For better grip and friction in both dry and wet conditions, the Pomoca Speed MTN sole is made of Butylic Compound. The sole has a precise climbing zone at the toe, good edge performance and aggressive lugs for better traction on mud and soft terrain.
The 3F system wraps around the foot for flexibility, fit and support.
