Salewa MS Wildfire Edge shoes, ombre blue/fluo yellow
Technical hiking shoes that, thanks to the Salewa Switchfit technology used, can be easily adapted from hiking to mountaineering mode. This technical system makes it possible to quickly adapt the fit from hiking to climbing by offering compression on the toes similar to a climbing shoe. You simply tighten the laces and pull the foot forward into the toe. Once you're done climbing, you return the laces to their original position for a wider toe and more comfort when hiking.
To further increase climbing precision, the Wildfire Edge insole also features a skid plate directly under the toes for additional directional stiffness, while the rest of the insole remains flexible, ensuring good walking comfort.
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole made of Butilic Compound brings better grip in both dry and wet conditions, has a reinforced zone for climbing on the toe, and aggressive protrusions on the sides for better traction on mud and soft terrain.
