Salewa MS Wildfire Edge GTX boots, black/black
This model is a versatile alternative for mountain tourism or more difficult climbing. The Salewa Switchfit technical system allows you to quickly adapt the fit from hiking to climbing by offering compression on the toes similar to a climbing shoe. You simply tighten the laces and pull the foot forward into the toe. Once you're done climbing, you return the laces to their original position for a wider toe and more comfort when hiking. The result is greater stability and confidence in technically complex terrain.
The abrasion-resistant suede leather interior and microfiber upper provide a waterproof Gore-Tex liner for all-weather comfort and convenience. The system reliably keeps the foot dry and at the same time allows the ventilation of excess sweat. To further increase climbing accuracy, the Wildfire Edge insole features additional stiff edges in the insole directly under the forefoot for extra directional stiffness, while the rest of the insole remains flexible to ensure good comfort and a natural rolling motion.
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole is made of highly grippy material and thus provides the greatest security on smooth surfaces and stones. The special profile of the sole has proven itself on mud and soft terrain. The inner Exa shell wraps the foot and prevents slipping in the shoe. The high-quality Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole has replaceable parts that can be adjusted as needed.
