The Fenix ​​LD12R pocket flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 600 lumens and an afterglow of 186 meters in the main reflector. It is powered by a Li-ion battery type 14500 with a capacity of 800 mAh, which is charged directly in the lamp via the USB-C connector hidden under the screw head of the lamp. Thanks to this, the charging connector is perfectly protected against water and dirt. Alternatively, one disposable AA alkaline or NiMH battery (with a limited max. output to 150 lumens).

The main reflector is complemented by a secondary side light with an output of up to 100 lumens and a wide light cone for lighting over a short distance (e.g. for reading, work, etc.). The lamp is also equipped with a fixed clip with an integrated magnet, so it can be easily hooked to a pocket or belt, or attached to an iron surface and have your hands free while lighting. In the energy-saving mode with an output of 1 lumen, it also offers a very long duration of up to 110 hours of illumination per charge.

Fenix ​​LD12R is a universal hand-held flashlight suitable for everyday wear, for the home, for the cottage or for hiking. Thanks to the magnetic clasp and the side light, it also stands out as a work lamp.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use of Fenix ​​LD12R LED lamp

Before first use, remove the insulating cap from the battery.

To turn on or off, fully press the end button of the lamp. To switch between the main and side reflectors with the light on, loosen the lamp head until it turns off (about a quarter turn), then tighten it again. This will switch between the main and side reflectors. You can change power modes while the lamp is on by pressing the button in the terminal.

The lamp has a memory for the power modes of the main reflector. If you turn it off with the button and turn it on again after more than 1 second, it will turn on in the last set mode.

Charging - loosen the head of the lamp 3-4 turns to reveal the charging port and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port of the lamp. Tighten the head again after charging is complete. Normal charging time is approximately 2 hours with a fully discharged lamp. The lamp cannot be used while charging. During charging, the indicator next to the charging connector lights up red, after charging it lights up green. If you use a disposable alkaline or NiMH battery, do not try to charge it in the lamp!

Indication of the state of battery charge - next to the charging connector there is an indicator LED signaling the charge of the accumulator (it is necessary to unscrew the lamp head by 3-4 revolutions). After pressing the button, the indication lights up for 3 seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged at 25-50%. Blinking red means less than 25% of battery capacity remains. This function is only active when using 14500 Li-ion batteries.

Intelligent protection against overheating - when the lamp is used for a long time at the highest power mode, a large amount of heat accumulates. In that case, the lamp will automatically reduce the power to lower the temperature.

Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below the set level, the lamp will reduce the brightness to a lower level until it drops to the lowest mode. After reaching the lowest power, it will flash three times every 5 minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. This function is only active when using a Li-ion battery type 14500.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Remove the alkaline battery from the lamp if you are not going to use it for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. This will prevent the risk of leakage and subsequent damage to the lamp.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The head or back part of the lamp is loose - tighten it.
