The rechargeable Fenix ​​HM65R-T V2.0 headlamp is characterized by a light magnesium alloy construction, high resistance to water and falling, a unique design with two reflectors and a light output of up to 1600 lumens. Reflectors create well-focused light beams that shine both far and near at the same time. The main reflector shines with a cool white light of approx. 6500K (so-called daytime white) and secondarily shines with a warm white light with a shade of approx. 3000K (the cone cannot be combined, however). Warm light penetrates fog, rain and falling snow better, so you can use it especially in bad weather conditions.

The main reflector offers 3 lighting modes, of which the maximum luminous flux is 1600 lumens, the second reflector offers a maximum output of 800 lumens and you can choose from four lighting modes. The headlamp also has an SOS mode and a whistle integrated on the strap for crisis situations. One Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3400 mAh is used for power supply, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In case of emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

Like other Fenix ​​trail headlamps, the HM65R-T V2.0 is also equipped with a wide strap with the Sport Fit System, i.e. with a wheel for easy adjustment of the strap length. You can quickly and comfortably loosen and tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The strap is also perforated and supplemented with reflective elements that ensure good user visibility and passive safety. Compared to the first generation HM65R-T, the new model is equipped with cut-outs for quick removal of the strap, so the headlamp can be easily used on sports, work and tactical helmets with the help of the Fenix ​​ALG-03 and ALG-04 holders. Thanks to its lower weight and light construction, the headlamp is especially interesting for trail running, cycling and skiing. Using the Fenix ​​HM65R-T V2.0 headlamp

There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
The main reflector is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the reflector with a warm shade of light is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5s). The headlamp always turns on in the lowest power mode. Light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both reflectors cannot be turned on at the same time, but it is possible to switch between them by pressing the corresponding button. SOS mode is activated by holding down any switch for at least 1.2 seconds.

Battery charge status indication - after a short press of any button (headlight must be switched off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one 20-40% and one flashing means the battery is less than 20% charged.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous activation, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the switched off state, press both buttons and hold min. 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash to indicate locking. To unlock, it is necessary to hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Protection against overheating - if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 60°C, it will automatically reduce the power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, it is possible to switch to higher power modes again.

Warning about a discharged battery - when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, it automatically switches to a lower power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing during lighting, the battery is almost discharged.

Charging - open the cover of the USB-C connector and plug in the attached charging cable, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB adapter into the mains or car (not included in the package). During charging, the status LEDs show the charging progress. After charging is complete, all four light up. Charging a completely discharged battery takes about 3 hours. While charging, the headlamp can only be used in the low mode of the main or secondary reflector.

Using the rotary wheel to adjust the length of the head strap - turn the wheel counterclockwise to tighten the strap. To loosen the strap, turn the wheel clockwise. By turning the wheel again after maximum loosening of the strap, the strap starts to tighten again and the direction of loosening and tightening is reversed.

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
• If the headlamp flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is discharged - charge it or replace it. The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
