ORTOVOX Swisswool Piz Boe women's vest, sea surface
The very lightweight ORTOVOX PIZ BOE VEST W women's vest is suitable for demanding activities such as ski mountaineering, ski touring and alpine hiking. The SWISSWOOL ® wool insulation insulates heat even when wet and has excellent thermoregulation properties. The durable Pertex ® Quantum outer material with a ripstop weave is water-repellent and windproof. Thanks to the stretch panels made of MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT material, it adapts even during dynamic movements. This is a technically sophisticated piece of clothing that will keep your body warm and comfortable during any sports activity in the mountains.
- Pertex ® Quantum surface material - very light, windproof and resistant to water and abrasion.
- Insulation – 60 g/m 2 SWISSWOOL ® – ideal weight-to-insulation ratio, naturally regulates temperature and humidity, fair trade, sustainable production.
- Inserts made of elastic softshell material MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT from the Swiss company Schoeller ® - extremely breathable, resistant to wind, water, abrasion and dirt, elastic with merino wool woven on the inside.
- Fitted hood with stretch panels for a great fit.
- Athletic Fit cut - ergonomic cut for active movement.
- Two front pockets with entrances next to the central zipper - they can be easily accessed even with a harness on and a backpack on your back.
- Elastic cuffs around the shoulders and on the lower hem of the vest.
Zone construction
Comfort and freedom of movement are supported by MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT stretch panels located in the armpits and on the back of the shoulders. On the inside of the panels is combed Merino wool, for better moisture absorption and comfort. You will often be wearing a backpack, so the seams on the shoulders are moved lower to prevent them from being damaged and to be comfortable to wear. Two spacious chest pockets are located higher for comfortable access even through the waist belt of the backpack. The pockets can also be used for ventilation as they are lined with mesh.
Universal and reliable
The ORTOVOX PIZ BOE VEST W is designed for demanding ski alpinists who know that less is often more. It is the ideal companion for demanding winter hikes, where minimum weight and maximum performance are required. The vest is universal and thanks to the Pertex® Quantum surface material, you can also use it as an outer layer and you don't have to worry about wet snow or drizzle. At the same time, it will replace your softshell because it is wind resistant. You can also use it as an insulation under a hardshell. You will like the vest most during winter activities such as ski mountaineering and ski touring.
