GEAR AID GA SEAM GRIP +SIL glue, 28 g
SEAM GRIP + SIL is a product with which you can easily seal seams on silicone fabrics. Seams on silicone fabrics cannot be sealed with sealing tape, as available sealing tapes do not adhere to the silicone surface. Therefore, the seams are sewn with threads with a certain proportion of cotton, which swells in moisture and clogs the needle holes. If the tropic is overstretched, the needle holes can open again and the seam will then leak water. Therefore, it is recommended to cover the seams of silicone fabrics with a sealant that is permanently elastic. GA SEAM GRIP + SIL is one such sealant. It prevents the penetration of water into the seam and is permanently elastic.
Work procedure:
Apply directly from the tube or with a brush to a clean dry surface, through the threads and in the folds, in a thin layer. If it is necessary to degrease the surface, it is ideal to use isopropyl alcohol. The layer should be allowed to dry, which takes 3 to 6 hours. Before folding the fabric, make sure that the applied layer does not stick. We recommend dusting the dried layer with talc (e.g. GA Talcum Powder).

Cleaning and storage:
After use, clean the thread on the tube. Squeeze the contents of the tube, if possible, all the way to the end. Carefully screw on the cap. Store in a dry and cool place. Wash your hands with soap and water. You can also clean the brush with soap and water.
