BEAL Escaper detachable abseiling system
The BEAL Escaper is a patented special tool that ensures the easiest way to safely and quickly abseil from the wall with one strand of rope. The whole system is based on a Prussian rope, which firmly holds the end of the Escaper rope under load (roping). After rappelling, it is sufficient to pull the rope strongly 8-12 times and loosen it completely, which will cause the prussian to loosen until the end of the rope passes through the abseiling eye (rivet) and falls to you with the end of the rope tied. The Beal Escaper is a certified modification of the method that was used in practice by a small group of climbers during a forced rapid retreat from the mountain. It takes up almost no space, weighs almost nothing, all its parts are visually easy to check. The correct securing procedure is perfectly drawn directly on the durable textile packaging in which the Escaper is delivered. Escaper can be combined with all types of ropes from 7.3 mm diameter (Beal Gully Unicore).
