If you are looking for a running vest for long runs or races that are close to 15 hours or more, then this historically 3. the COMPRESSPORT running vest is one you can always rely on. With its three zipped pockets and 12 + 3 liter volume, this ultra-stable running backpack will give you plenty of room for nutrition and gear for long adventures and ultramarathons.
There are two easily accessible mesh pockets on the front, which are mainly intended for soft flasks. Above the pockets there are loops for fixing the mouth of these bottles. A smaller zipped pocket is designed on the right shoulder, ideal for keys. On the left shoulder, there is a mesh pocket for storing food packaging. You can easily store gloves, a headband or other energy accessories in the front, lower, larger pockets. In addition, there is another zippered pocket on the left side, which is suitable for storing a mobile phone.
There is a final zipped pocket on the back that holds the must-haves that you don't take out often. These can be, for example, documents, money or thermal insulation films. This zipper pocket covers the largest pocket of the entire vest, which has a Velcro fastener in its upper part for attaching the camelbak. In the lower half, an opening is then designed for taking out the tube. The pockets on the back are elasticated, so they can easily fit the mandatory clothes and equipment. In addition, on the outside of the backpack, a rubber system in the shape of the letter "Z" is designed, where you can store a jacket or raincoat. In the lower part of the back, two opposite pockets are designed. Each of them is accessible from one side only. You can practically separate the things inside this double pocket. Rubber grommets with internal silicone print are here ready for your compound sticks.
As is usual with the COMPRESSPORT brand, the vest is extremely breathable and ergonomic with soft seams for unrivaled comfort. This is helped, for example, by new padding on the front, which prevents rubbing against the chest. The adjustable side straps can be pulled down very quickly for more fixation during technical runs. The increase in breathability on steep slopes is possible thanks to the so-called „zip-blocku“. Which means that as long as you leave the zipper pull in the down position, the slider will stay in the same position.
The running vest has many reflective elements in several places. Not only do these elements increase your safety, but they also help to find individual pockets very quickly in the dark.
