Versatile backpack for demanding hiking in summer and winter. The padded back system and straps with ingenious ventilation fit you comfortably even with a heavier load and at the same time allow air to flow for your greater wearing comfort. When bad weather comes, you can protect your belongings with a practical integrated raincoat. It serves as additional protection for the backpack, which is made of a robust waterproof material made of 72% recycled polyamide, so you save the environment with which you go out into it. Practical are elastic pockets and the possibility of attaching sticks or an integrated net for the helmet.

Comfort for long distances

As is customary with the ORTOVOX brand, comfort is a priority, and every part of the TRAVERSE 28 S backpack is adapted to this:
  • comfortable back system with ventilation,
  • ergonomically shaped shoulder straps,
  • comfortable and easily adjustable waist belt,
  • possibility to firmly attach equipment from the outer part of the backpack (sticks, helmet and skis).
Thanks to all the ingenious elements, the weight of the backpack is distributed evenly. Whether you are going on a demanding summer hike, a via ferrata or a winter hike, you can organize everything you need in the backpack thanks to its large volume and practical pockets.

Comfortable back system

The COMFORT CONTACT BACK SYSTEM is made up of zones of five pillows and the space between them, which is important for better air circulation. The back system transfers the load of the backpack evenly between the shoulders and hips. For maximum fixation, the backpack has a hip and chest strap. The chest strap includes a warning whistle

You can attach a large amount of equipment to the ORTOVOX TRAVERSE 28 S backpack for demanding hiking in summer and winter. Each piece of equipment has its exact place and holds firmly on the backpack. Attaching and assembling the equipment is quick and easy. You attach to the backpack:
  • trekking poles
  • helmet
  • skis (A-Skifix)
  • mat

Packed clearly as in a suitcase

You can get to the main chamber through two entrances. Either from the top via the backpack's retractable lid or with the help of the perimeter zipper, thanks to which you unzip the entire backpack like a suitcase and have great access to everything. The light interior also helps the backpack to be clear. You'll appreciate it in the dark.

Many practical pockets

The clearly designed interior of the ORTOVOX TRAVERSE 28 S backpack will make packing and the subsequent search for equipment easier. Everything has its place.
  • Main pocket for spare clothes, food and other equipment.
  • In the main chamber, there is a pocket for a water reservoir with the possibility to take out a tube in the middle between the shoulder straps, on which there is a practical loop for attaching it.
  • Inside the main compartment is a small hidden pocket for documents, valuables and cash.
  • You can store your camera or mobile phone in your hip pocket.
  • The lid of the backpack has an inner and an outer pocket - suitable for things such as a first aid kit, knife, headlamp, lunch box, etc.
  • Side elastic mesh water bottle pockets
  • Front stretch pocket for storing a jacket or other flat items.

Robust processing

Despite the low weight in this category of hiking backpacks (only 980 g), the ORTOVOX TRAVERSE 28 S backpack is very durable and strong. Robic polyamide is a material made of very strong nylon, and the surface treatment with polyurethane on the inside increases waterproofing. In case of heavy rain, you can use the integrated rain cover. 72% of the backpack is made of recycled polyamide, so you save the environment with which you go. However, it still applies. that whether you put your backpack on rocks, lean against a tree or walk in the rain, the equipment and the backpack itself will remain undamaged and dry.

Quick access to the main chamber

You can access the main compartment of the ORTOVOX TRAVERSE 28 S backpack using the integrated strap in the collar with a speed lock. Simply pull it down and the backpack is tightly closed. Pull the plastic buckle to release the lock and open the backpack. There is also a plastic carabiner for keys in the lid of the backpack. You can also use the entrance with a zipper around the perimeter of the backpack, the choice is yours.

In the version with a shorter back

This variant of the "S" backpack is designed for people with a back length of 36 to 44 cm. However, the ORTOVOX TRAVERSE backpack can also be purchased in a variant for those of you with a back length between 42 and 50 cm. The length of the back is counted from 7. cervical vertebra to the upper part of the pelvis. The backpack is not only modified in the length of the back, but also changes in the shape of the shoulder straps and adjustment of the waist belt. The backpack thus fits perfectly and holds more firmly on the back.
