In this case, the abbreviation EL stands for the Extra long version, which promises super comfort for tall people who have trouble finding a well-fitting backpack. You will appreciate this backpack above all for its good stability, because it fits perfectly on your back thanks to the proven Airstripes back system. This system rests on a flexible U-shaped Delrin® frame that distributes weight evenly. Two strips of molded foam with breathable mesh minimally touch the back and thus allow maximum ventilation thanks to the chimney effect. In conjunction with the movable perforated shoulder straps, adjustable waist belt and chest strap, the Trail 32 EL backpack clings to your back as if it were part of it, and yet you will be dry and comfortable even during fast progress.
PLENTY OF SPACE FOR EQUIPMENT
The main compartment of the Trail 32 EL backpack holds everything you need for a day in the mountains. It is accessible from above under the lid with an inner and outer pocket and also from the front thanks to a wide zip opening, which speeds up access to the contents. Inside the main chamber there is a pocket for a hydro bag. The backpack also has a mesh side pocket, for example for a water bottle or gloves. On the other side, there is a zippered pocket that safely stores small items or, for example, electronics. The Trail 32 EL backpack also has drawstrings for attaching trekking poles or an ice axe, eyelets for a helmet carrier, compression straps, if needed, and clever loops on the shoulder straps into which you can clip hand ferrata carabiners.
