The climbing backpack is made of modern material BD UHWMPE "Mini Rip" 100d, which is characterized by very low weight and provides very good resistance. This is an ideal combination for mountain equipment. Access to the main space was cleverly solved. The lid can be opened with one hand, allowing easy access to the contents in any situation. The top part is secured with a strap that can be used to compress the backpack. It can also be used to attach a climbing rope. Inside, there is a spacious compartment and a zippered mesh pocket for smaller items.
The entire pack is also hydration compatible, so installing a hydration reservoir won't be a problem. Another small pocket is located on the outside of the backpack in the upper part. It has a sealed zipper that better protects the contents from getting wet quickly. The Black Diamond Blitz 20 mountain backpack is equipped with ingenious handles for ice axes or trekking poles. These are located on the front panel. Access to the equipment is very quick and easy. A relatively simple carrying system provides the necessary comfort. A thin hip belt provides the necessary stabilization of the luggage when the backpack is full, and can be quickly released if necessary. A height-adjustable chest belt performs a similar role. There is a layer of foam in the panel in contact with the back, which provides excellent insulation against hard luggage. In addition, it can be removed during layovers or overnight stays, when it turns into a mat for sitting and, in case of emergency, for sleeping.
