Ultrafit high-performance ski socks with a particularly thin construction enable maximum precision in force transmission. Optimum performance is ensured by the anti-slip strip and ultra-thin construction, the comfort of the merino wool admixture.
Ski knee socks for expert skiers are ultra-thin, woven in a very dense and fine knit (200 needles) and completely smooth on the inside, without excess fibers. They provide the maximum possible performance and comfort when skiing. These socks are very thin and adapt to the foot, so they work more like a second skin, thanks to which the skier feels exactly the feedback from the ski boot. Organic merino wool and recycled polyamide ( EcoTech design ) are used.
This model of socks is used by top racing skiers from the World Cup. Sidas is, for example, a professional partner of the German ski association in the field of bootfitting (anatomical shoe inserts, foaming slippers, socks).
Ski Ultrafit socks also support blood circulation and stabilize muscles thanks to light compression (20 to 30 mmHg).
This leads to faster regeneration and better protection of muscles and greater performance.
The accuracy of force transmission depends on the thickness of the socks and how densely they are knitted. In addition to the very thin and densely woven construction, these also have an inner side carefully sewn so that no fibers protrude from it (In & Out construction). Thanks to this, they perfectly adapt to the leg and do not cause bruises - the reinforcements in sensitive areas of the leg also protect against this.
The silicone anti-slip strip on the foot improves the contact of the foot with the insole and helps for better stability. The foot is thus in direct contact with the boot and this allows the skier to transfer forces more precisely.
Merino wool provides thermal comfort and wicks away moisture.
