High men's socks ORTOVOX ALPINE MID SOCKS are the ideal companion for all summer mountain, climbing and alpinist tours. They are knitted from a mixture of Merino wool and synthetics. Thanks to this, they are very durable, pleasant and functional. Wool perfectly absorbs moisture into its core and warms even when wet. In addition, it has antibacterial properties and is able to neutralize odors. Polyamide fibers increase the durability and longevity of socks.

Special knitting, each zone fulfills its purpose

The socks are made with seamless knitting technology, that means they are knitted in a circle, thanks to which they have no seams that would push you in the shoes. On the socks, you will find zones with different types of knitting, while each zone, whether on the foot or the shin, offers what you need most:

- Toes with flat seams - to eliminate blisters.
- Reinforced heel and toe - for better comfort and longer life.
- Softening in sensitive areas - for maximum comfort.
- 360° belt around the arch of the foot with excellent breathability and moisture removal.
- The sock is ergonomically shaped for the left and right foot separately - Mirrored reinforcement and softening - for greater comfort and durability.
- Support for the ankle and the arch, thanks to which the sock does not wrinkle or come off.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.
