Waterproof membrane DERMIZAX® NX

DERMIZAX® NX is a non-porous membrane manufactured by the Japanese company Torey. Ease of maintenance, long service life and pleasant lining are the main reasons why you should be interested in this membrane . Despite its low weight, it has excellent breathability and water resistance. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a water-repellent DWR treatment.

DERMIZAX® NX is a 100% windproof membrane.
It is waterproof - water column 20,000 mm, breathability 42,000 g/m ² /24h.

SWISSWOOL® – the story of renewed Swiss sheep breeding

Natural resources are often better materials than any synthetics. The hair of Swiss sheep is an example of this. Although it is not as soft as Merino, ORTOVOX decided to use its potential for insulating layers and with its idea significantly helped sheep breeding and local farmers.
SWISSWOOL® is a comfortable insulation made from strips of pressed Swiss wool. These are placed in the individual panels of the jacket, thanks to which they stay in place and do not move. This wool insulation is ideal for active movement, because wool absorbs up to 35% of moisture into its core, so you feel dry even during high physical activity. Moreover, compared to synthetic insulation material, it degrades only negligibly and retains its properties for many years.

Freedom of movement

ORTOVOX 2L SWISSWOOL ANDERMATT PANT pants have a looser cut, shaped knees and stretchy material. This offers freedom of movement and you will not be restricted by pants when going downhill. The raised belt is a great protection against snow. For perfect snow protection, the trousers have snow sleeves with a silicone band to keep them in place.

Integrated belt and pants reinforced with Cordura® material

The waist has an integrated velcro strap with pull-downs on the sides for greater comfort. The trousers also have loops for another belt. Even higher comfort is provided by merino wool panels on the back and knees. The bottoms of the trousers are reinforced with CORDURA® material on the outside, so they can withstand the edges of skis and cats and ensure long-term service.

Practical and great looking pockets

On the right thigh is a large 3D pocket with an integrated carabiner pocket for an avalanche finder. The trousers have two large front pockets and side ventilation zips.

If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement or refund. Long pants from ORTOVOX

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
