Durable three-layer DRILITE® membrane
The advantage of the KARAKORAM MOUNTAIN PANT is their high durability. Waterproofness is guaranteed by the three-layer DRILITE® membrane of high 70D fineness, which is above the standard in this segment.DRILITE® is a hydrophilic, monolithic polyurethane membrane that has all three important properties – water resistance, breathability and abrasion resistance. Its water column is 20,000 mm, and in terms of breathability, the permeability of water vapor reaches a value of 20,000 g/sqm/24. The membrane works on the principle of water vapor transport through the molecular structure of the membrane and at the same time forms a barrier against the passage of water molecules from the outside. The advantage of this membrane is its low weight and good packability.
