We created the ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS specifically in our MERINO SHIELD ZERO product line for the needs of climbers who need to rely on their gear for long climbing days, but still need their gear to be light enough. These climbing pants are made of abrasion-resistant material that is also stretchy, light and breathable. In addition, our women's ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS have a better-fitting cut with narrower pants, elastic seams and anatomically shaped knees, which will guarantee that they will follow your every step with ease.Minimalistic but functional
When we thought about the functions of the ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS, we focused on the most important thing: Despite their low weight, the pants offer two practical pockets that comfortably fit essentials and a special map pocket located on the thigh. Soft merino wool mesh inserts around the waist and pockets ensure the pants are comfortable exactly where it's needed most.Thanks to the combination of the mentioned elements and functions, the women's ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS are suitable for all types of mountain adventures, where the low weight of the clothing and its functionality are essential.
MERINO SHIELD ZERO
Protection and light weight: We used a mixture of polyamide and elastane as the main material of the ORTOVOX MERINO SHIELD ZERO collection. Thanks to the chosen combination of materials, the resulting fabric is light, breathable, but at the same time very durable. The MERINO SHIELD ZERO range is water-repellent thanks to DWR technology.The highest quality Merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.
