CIRQUE GLOVE waterproof gloves are made of a DRILITE® waterproof membrane, which will keep your hands dry even when climbing wet snow fields or ice from which water is already flowing. They are also suitable for freeride and wherever there is a risk of getting wet. Always have at least two gloves with you and one of them should be waterproof. CIRQUE GLOVE gloves have a Climbing Fit cut and shaped fingers for a good grip on ice axes. The quality and durability are underlined by the goat leather segments that protect the palm and part of the back of the hand.
- The top is a very robust and stretchy EXOLITE softshell with an area weight of 210 g/m2.
- The waterproof DRILITE® membrane is incorporated into the sandwich construction.
- Problem areas (on the palm and the back of the hand) are reinforced with waterproof goat leather for excellent abrasion resistance.
- Synthetic insole on the opposite side of the hand.
- Palm insole made of fleece material with high pile for even greater thermal comfort.
- Climbing fit for a great grip on ice axes and work with climbing material.
- Roll Tip – the shape of the fingertips for maximum sensitivity and durability.
- Soft skin on the thumb for wiping the nose without skin irritation.
- Adjustable velcro wrist glove pulldown.
- Loop on the middle finger for hanging on a carabiner. The gloves will thus hang down at the entrance, so that snow does not fall into them.
DRILITE ® waterproof membrane
DRILITE® is a hydrophilic, monolithic polyurethane membrane that has all three important properties – water resistance, breathability and abrasion resistance. Its water column is 20,000 mm, and in terms of breathability, the permeability of water vapor reaches a value of 20,000 g/sqm/24. The membrane works on the principle of water vapor transport through the molecular structure of the membrane and at the same time forms a barrier against the passage of water molecules from the outside. The advantage of this membrane is its low weight and good packability.
