Waterproof membrane DERMIZAX® EV
DERMIZAX® EV is a non-porous membrane manufactured by the Japanese company Torey. It is easy to maintain and has a long service life. Waterproofness is a matter of course. In addition, the membrane is stretchable in all four directions, which you will appreciate during demanding movements. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a DWR treatment that repels both water and dirt.

Free movement and robust construction
The ORTOVOX 3L GUARDIAN SHELL JACKET is made of a durable three-layer membrane. At the same time, it has an athletic cut and is stretchy in all four directions, allowing maximum freedom of movement. The unique technology with a lining made of merino wool will surprise you with its pleasantness, it does not stick to the skin, wicks away moisture from the body, warms even when wet and provides high comfort and a feeling of dryness.
100% Merino wool on the inside of the jacket
The entire inside of the jacket has a unique lamination of 100% Merino wool with an area weight of 90 g/m 2. This lining gives the jacket great thermoregulation properties and exceptional wearing comfort. It warms and does not stick to the skin. It also absorbs moisture very well and keeps you warm even when wet, so you don't have to worry about the cold, even if you sweat a little.
Ski helmet hood and integrated pull-down
Ergonomically shaped sleeves fit better and do not restrict your movement. You can close the sleeve cuffs with Velcro. You can adjust the bottom hem and the hood using the laces hidden in the tunnels, so they won't bother you in the wind. The hood is compatible with a large ski helmet, but when you pull it down comfortably, you can wear it just as well without a helmet.
- The collar is high to perfectly cover the face even when looking up. It will protect you from wind and snow while driving.
The jacket has large and practical pockets. The two raised front pockets can also be accessed via the waist belt of the backpack or the seat harness. The pocket on the sleeve is perfect for a ski pass. The inner pocket with wool lining is suitable for protecting your phone, camera and other electronics that you want to keep close at hand and safe.
Along the main zipper there is a flap that serves as a secondary protection against water for the already waterproof zipper. The main two-way zipper is also practical when used with a climbing seat. Two-way ventilation zippers in the armpits improve air circulation. The snow band with silicone keeps it in place and you can unfasten it with a zipper.
