The Black Diamond Vision Hybrid Hoody women's insulated jacket is a very advanced model that is perfect for all autumn and winter mountain activities.It has PrimaLoft Cross Core Insulation, which allows you to maintain the correct body temperature during activity even on the coldest winter days. In addition, the jacket is filled with airgel, developed by NASA, which improves the insulation properties without affecting its weight. This material is used in spacesuits for astronauts, which is sufficient proof of its effectiveness.
Primaloft ® insulation was originally designed for use in the US military. The main goal was to discover a material that would be as warm as down, but anti-allergic and completely resistant to mold and bacteria. The extremely light and soft PrimaLoft ® fibers contain millions of air channels enclosed in a fine mesh. Synthetic fibers absorb less water, providing more warmth both dry and wet compared to most competitive insulations.
