The RUPAL JACKET is completely waterproof. It is a porous type GORE-TEX® membrane. One such pore is twenty thousand times smaller than a water molecule and therefore only allows water vapor molecules to pass through. So the moisture from the sweat gets out, but the water drops don't penetrate inside. Thanks to this, the membrane is highly breathable and waterproof at the same time.

Discreet but thoughtful design
There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. Especially when it's windy or raining. The RUPAL JACKET hardshell jacket has a Mountain HC Hood type, which is compatible with a climbing helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced peak and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.

You will also appreciate two large pockets with waterproof YKK® zippers, which can easily fit gloves, a camera, snacks or anything you want to have immediately at hand.

The cuffs of the sleeves are slanted, so they fit perfectly regardless of movements and at the same time protect against snow, wind and rain much better than straight cuts.

The most perfect seams
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. Waterproof YKK® zippers
The RUPAL JACKET is fastened with a YKK® Aquaguard® two-way zipper. This is the highest model range of this renowned zipper manufacturer. Two pockets and underarm ventilation are equipped with YKK® WR zippers. Despite the fact that these are waterproof zippers, make sure that you don't keep things in your pockets that can't stand moisture in heavy rain. For example, a mobile phone.
