This piece from the workshop of Mountain Equipment is the warmest, lightest and most compressible jacket in the collection of synthetic insulation, thanks to the unique Aetherm TM insulation, which was developed directly by the developers at Mountain Equipment. The jacket is very versatile, comfortable and resistant to moisture, so it is a great piece for mountain climbing or trekking in demanding conditions. It takes up minimal space in the backpack, but when the weather turns bad, OREUS literally changes the game. You will definitely appreciate the insulated Mountain HC Hood compatible with the helmet and the elastic sleeve hem, which also fits well over gloves.The jacket is the result of five years of development. First of all, it was mainly about the development of a unique patented insulation material, and then also about other things - used materials, cut and technical elements such as a hood, etc. This jacket has gone through countless tests in the lab and in the field, many prototypes have been created, tested by a team of ambassadors in the harshest alpine conditions, until the best mid-weight synthetic jacket on the market has been created.
A unique universal heater
The Oreus jacket is incredibly versatile. You can take it wherever you need low weight, but at the same time you are afraid of winter and bad weather.
