Nikwax Rug Proof™ ensures durable water resistance (DWR) while maintaining breathability. It is easy and quick to use in the washing machine and its excellent DWR treatment is created when it dries in the air.
Nikwax Rug Proof™ has been specially formulated and optimized for breathable waterproof blankets and pet coats. It leaves a flexible waterproof finish on the individual fibers, allowing evaporative moisture to escape, maintaining breathability and protecting your animal from getting wet in the rain.
Last but not least, thanks to the use in the washing machine, the entire blanket or jacket is treated, including seams, ribbons and cords, and of course the fabric itself.
For best results, always wash with Nikwax Rug Wash™ first. It is not necessary to dry the blanket before impregnation. However, it is important that it is washed carefully. Shake the bottle well before use. Observe the symbols shown on the product.
- Remove detergent residues from washing powders from the detergent dispenser.
- Put a clean blanket in the washing machine.
- Use 500ml for 1 blanket. Due to the volume of the blanket, wash only one piece.
- Set the washing machine to 30 ° - COTTON.
- Leave to hang freely or dry in the dryer as long as the symbols indicated by the manufacturer allow it.
