Racing aerodynamic road helmet with MIPS technology - R10 Areo MIPS.
Wind tunnel tests have shown that the profile and volume of the helmet is more important than the number (or even lack) of vents when it comes to reducing drag. If the shape of the helmet fits closely to the rider's head and does not lie too far from the skull, the benefit is more effective than a standard helmet with a large volume. A helmet shield can further reduce drag, so a well-ventilated helmet can be just as aerodynamic as a helmet with more volume and no holes. There is no reason to compromise airflow to reduce drag. With a reduced volume and a carefully optimized shape, the R10 delivers excellent performance in all directions.
