HJC is one of the few helmet companies equipped with its own state-of-the-art wind tunnel laboratory for testing aerodynamics, ventilation, noise and other parameters. HJC's wind tunnel test lab measures air forces in various riding conditions to improve helmet performance.
SELFIT – an automatic self-adjusting system that represents a revolutionary technology in the field of bicycle helmet assembly. Once the helmet is adjusted to your head, it requires no further adjustments, even if your head moves while riding. The SELFIT system automatically adjusts the gap and ensures a consistent fit and comfort for your head.
Five snap fitting positions ensure a consistent fit and comfort for all different types of head shapes and sizes. The rider can fine-tune the fit, resulting in a helmet that will be perfectly tailored for the perfect ride every time the ride is repeated.
COOLPATH – a new technology replacing the internal padding, which allows cool air to flow around the head and increases comfort during driving. The cool air flow and lightness of the helmet improve the fit and provide an excellent riding experience. A certain amount of air passes through the front intake hole, then circulates inside the helmet and finally exits through the exhaust hole. Internal airflow is increased to cool the head and dissipate heat.
SLID – HJC has developed a safety feature by adding a special GEL material. The SLID is placed inside the helmet to reduce the amount of energy delivered to the brain by providing rotational function. The advanced GEL material inside the SLID insole has flowing properties. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve minimum forces and energies falling on the brain by dispersing the impact.
