Technology:
In-mold
It is a designation of a technological process in which foam EPS polystyrene is injected into the shell and reinforcement of the ICR or Roll Cage type closed in a mold. Their connection reinforces the area of ventilation openings and ribs. The result is a compact, uniform, light, safe and very durable helmet.
Roll Cage
It is an internal reinforcing nylon fitting inside EPS hardened polystyrene. It looks like a network passing through each rib. It significantly strengthens the helmet and keeps it completely on its head in the most destructive impacts.
In-Mold Composite Sub-Frame (ICS)
Partially visible internal carbon reinforcement consisting of a series of plates. It strengthens the lightest helmets and allows the use of very narrow transverse ribs. The carbon that complements the shell is lighter than plastic, better decomposes the energy of the impact and at the same time improves the design.
Roc Loc 5
The most modern Giro clamping system, which allows vertical and horizontal adjustment of your helmet. You can do all this with one hand using the wheel. Roc Loc 5 is 40% lighter than its predecessor Roc Loc 4.
Wind Tunnel
Specially designed ventilation tunnels on the inside of the helmet supply cool air through the front, lead it over your head and discharge warm air out through the rear openings.
