Giro Helios Spherical helmet
The heart of the Helios model is the Spherical (Powered by MIPS) technology, which works on the principle of a joint. It was developed in cooperation with MIPS. This is the most advanced brain protection system against rotational forces on the market. The shell consists of two parts that slide together like a joint. The outer shell can rotate around the inner shell in the event of an impact, reducing the forces that would otherwise act directly on the head and brain. The inside of the hemisphere, which comes into contact with the head, is also made of a softer material.|
