Alpina helmet AIRTIME blue
Alpina AIRTIME is a helmet designed for Freestyle / Freeride riding. The AIRTIME helmet is very light, made with In-Mold technology, which guarantees its high strength. The size of the helmet can be precisely adjusted to the size of the head using the ?Run System? and replaceable pads.
IN-MOLD technology means a procedure in which the mass of the inner shell is foamed into the outer shell of the helmet under high pressure and high temperature. The result is a complete connection and an extremely stable structure of the helmet at a low weight. Safety in the event of mechanical influences, e.g. when hitting a pointed object, it is therefore clearly higher for IN-MOLD helmets than for point-glued helmets. The inner shell is made of HI-EPS, which is a material with very fine pores, consisting of many microscopically small air chambers. In addition, HI-EPS does not absorb water and therefore neither sweat. The thin and light ceramic outer shell is very strong, scratch-resistant, but also UV-stable and anti-static.
TIP for choosing a helmet size: measure the "head circumference" above the ears. Always choose a helmet that fits firmly on your head, but does not press you on the sides of your head, or is not uncomfortably tight. Remember that each person has a unique head shape. If you can't decide between two helmet sizes, which is more suitable, it is possible to choose a slightly smaller size for a narrower head and a slightly larger version for a rounder head shape.
