The Fixture II W women's helmet is especially at home in the terrain - the shape is tuned from our much more expensive trail helmets. Half-tracks, forest roads or narrow trails - if you are most satisfied when the dirt crunches under your wheels, needles rumble and cones fly away, the Fixture II W helmet is the right one for you. With its elongated profile at the back, it provides increased protection for the back of the neck. It is well ventilated with 16 holes and sits perfectly on the head. The Roc Loc Sport clamping system is easy to tighten with one hand using the wheel and is compatible with braided hair.

MIPS IS A MOVEMENT
All Giro helmets are designed to absorb as much energy as possible during impact and meet the current European standard: EN 1078. The goal of the new MIPS technology is to eliminate the rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a fall. In an impact at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the rider's head. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
WHAT IS MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
MIPS is a slippery insert between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner linings. In the event of an impact at an angle (for example, when you catch your head on a branch), the EPS shell of the helmet rotates a few millimeters after the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from a violent rotational jerk.
