Fenix HL50 headlamp
Fenix HL50 is a small high-performance headlamp that offers a number of unique functions. For power supply, it is possible to use either a 3V CR123A lithium battery or, after screwing in the extension (part of the package), a regular AA pencil battery. Due to its compact dimensions, it offers a respectable luminous flux of up to 365 lumens in BURST mode and an afterglow of up to 77 meters. The light source is a top LED Cree XM-L2 T6 with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting presentation of colors in nature. The all-metal construction ensures high resistance, optimal cooling, and at the same time it is fully waterproof according to the IPX-8 standard up to a depth of 2 meters under water. The practicality of the headlamp increases the possibility to remove the light from the head holder and use it also as a small pocket flashlight. The Fenix HL50 headlamp is an ideal companion for various sports activities, trips to nature, home and work. All parameters of the headlamp (luminous flux, operating time on batteries, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard. Fenix HL50 headlamp parameters: It uses a powerful Cree XM-L2 T6 LED with a warmer shade with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Four power modes: When powered by a CR123A battery: BURST 365 lumens (while holding the button) -> 170 lumens (3 hours) -> 60 lumens (9.75 hours) -> 4 lumens (150 hours). When powered from a NiMH pencil battery: BURST 285 lumens (while holding the button) -> 150 lumens (2 hours) -> 55 lumens (6.3 hours) -> 3 lumens (110 hours). Duration times for pencil batteries are measured with a rechargeable NiMH battery with a capacity of 2500mAh. The aluminum reflector creates a wide light cone with an afterglow of up to 77 meters (1480 cd). Electronics with digital regulation for constant brightness and protection against reverse battery insertion. The headlamp remembers the last set power mode. For power supply, it is possible to use one pencil accumulator (when the extension extension is screwed in) or one 3V CR123A lithium battery. Supported supply voltage 0.9 - 3.0 V. Convenient control with one electronic switch on the upper side of the headlamp. The headlamp can be rotated in the holder in a wide range and thus set the desired lighting direction. Made of aviation hardened aluminum type T6 with hard to scratch surface - Type III hard Anodized, holder made of stainless steel. Waterproof according to the IPX-8 standard (tested under water at a depth of 2 meters). Headlamp body dimensions: 2.3 cm (diameter at widest point) x 6.4 cm (length in short version), 8.2 cm (length with AA battery attachment). Weight 57 grams (without batteries). Impact-resistant from a fall from a height of 1 meter. Hardened ultra clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating. The package includes a headlamp, a head strap, a spare o-ring, an extension piece for the use of AA batteries. Batteries are not included in the package. Use: Assemble the headlamp according to the pictures in the attached English manual, pay special attention to the correct use of the head strap, if it is assembled incorrectly, the strap may come loose. You turn on the headlamp by pressing the button, as soon as it is on, the lighting modes are switched again by pressing the button. You can turn it off by holding down the button for half a second. To activate the BURST mode, hold the button for one second (it works even when the headlamp is off). When you release the button, the headlamp will return to the previous performance mode. Warning: Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty. Remove the batteries from the headlamp if you are not going to use it for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. Otherwise, some low-quality batteries may leak and damage the headlamp. If the headlamp flashes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons: The batteries are almost empty - replace them. The headlight cap is enabled - tighten it. The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cloth soaked in alcohol. Warranty: Five-year warranty.
