Foretrex 801 is the next generation of proven navigation devices with high durability and extended battery life that you can replace immediately (AAA). Extremely durable construction and other parameters meet military standards MIL-STD-810G ; with support for reading the display even when using night vision. Equipped with a satellite signal receiver with Multi-band GNSS support. Equipped as standard with an electronic 3D compass that can indicate azimuth without the need for movement - a principle similar to a conventional compass. Integrated barometric altimeter for measuring altitude, air pressure and the course of air pressure changes - including alarm.

Main advantages
- The durable waterproof case is equipped with a sturdy Velcro strap that can be extended if necessary. The control is handled by five buttons on the bottom, which ensure easy and quick access to all important functions. Creating and saving your own waypoints, recording your route and automatically generating a return navigation route (TrackBack) are all handled in the Foretrex navigator just as reliably as in larger Garmin navigators.
- The specialized Foretrex 801 with corresponding tactical equipment additionally offers the option of dual display of position coordinates (2 formats), a secret stealth watch mode and a Kill switch function that allows you to erase the entire user memory with one press. For skydiving, the Jumpmaster function is available, which allows you to optimally monitor the flight progress according to the type of jump.
