Fenix ARE-A4 (Li-ion, NiMH) charger
The universal four-channel Fenix ARE-A4 charger is designed for 3.7V / 3.6V Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd batteries. Each charging slot is monitored independently, so batteries of different sizes, capacities and even different materials can be charged at the same time (Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd can be charged at the same time). It automatically recognizes the inserted battery type and selects the optimal charging algorithm.
The charger can charge Li-ion batteries of the following types: 26650, 22650, 25500, 21700, 20700, 18650, 17670, 18700, 14650, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340, RCR1 23, 10440 and AAA size NiMH batteries, AA, C. Only two batteries of sizes 26650, 22650, 25500 and C fit into the charger, the other sizes can be charged up to four. Li-ion 21700 batteries with protective electronics can also be charged in the charger.

Using the Fenix ARE-A4 charger
Plug the charger into the socket. The display lights up. After inserting the batteries, the display shows the battery type and charging status. The button for each charging channel is used to switch the displayed information in the following order: voltage - charging current - charging time. By holding down the button for a long time, the display can be turned off, and with a short press it can be turned on again, and the current battery voltage will be displayed again.
Warning
- Do not charge Li-ion cells that have gone through a state of excessive discharge (below 2V).
- Do not insert batteries into the charger upside down (opposite polarity).
- Observe the safety principles when using the charger.
- We recommend using high-quality protected Li-ion batteries.
- It is not designed for charging LiFePO4 batteries.
