The LCD VIVID display is a special type of display that is characterized by high brightness, contrast and vivid colours. Designed to provide excellent readability and contrast even in direct sunlight and from various viewing angles. Thanks to this, it will ensure the display of map details and statistics in amazing detail. So that you don't have to stop cycling, it has up to 20 hours of battery life in the most demanding use cases. You will enrich your each ride with information thanks to the report of danger on the road from other cyclists.

When it's time to focus on training, the Edge 1050 will remind you. Works reliably with free Garmin training plans for cyclists. Training adapted to events (e.g. races) brings a personalized approach to other rides that adapt adaptively to the delivered power and regeneration. Targeted adaptive training for cycle training depending on the current condition, planned rides with the aim of “tuning” the form for the next race.

Battery life for every ride
The integrated battery provides up to 60 hours of battery life depending on use - in power saving mode after setting. You can expect a battery life of up to 20 hours with normal settings without power saving restrictions.

Road hazard warnings
Edge 1050 will help you drive smarter and with greater awareness. Get alerts about road hazards reported by other cyclists and contribute your own reports.

Maps and navigation
The Edge 1050 comes with a detailed cycling map of our continent and when travelling, allows free download of additional maps from around the world, including trails from the Trailforks database. Thanks to Wi-Fi®, you can easily install and update maps and software without a computer. Want to try a new route? Easily create routes directly on the device using the responsive touchscreen and see the type of road surface on the map for more clarity when planning and driving.

Group ride - group ride
Stay in touch with your friends even during the (group) ride. You can track other passengers, their location and communicate with each other directly through the Edge 1050. You can even compete with each other directly during the ride and evaluate various statistics resulting from the ride, for example when climbing or after a ride.

Real Time Stamina
Real-time Stamina is a feature that helps you achieve your best result without hesitation. In real time, you can see how much you still have “in the tank” and adjust your performance until the finish line.

Climb Pro
Refined functionality of the popular tool, which provides the user with extended information about the current, ongoing and total elevation, terrain slope, remaining distance to the summit (on sections / to the destination), altitude, etc. in real time. CLIMBPRO function supports automatic detection of slopes in your vicinity, along with other available info (elevation, slope, distance to the end of the slope and others).

Power Guide - a guide to the delivered power
Provides a better overview of achieved and achievable performance goals (W) with a connected wattmeter >Rally for targeted adaptive training depending on the current condition, planned rides with the aim of “tuning” the form for the next race.

MTB Dynamics
Edge 1050 offers support of relevant metrics for MTB as well. When riding off-road, it records the total number of jumps, jump distance and also the associated HANGTIME. The GRIT metric will measure the difficulty of each ride, the FLOW metric will take care of monitoring the smoothness of the descent and then evaluate the ride with a point score that you can try to improve on the next ride.

ANT+ integration
The universal ANT+ interface allows you to connect the Edge 1050 with accessories from various manufacturers and thus make the most of the smart functionality it offers. For example, you can benefit from connecting a cycle computer and electronic gear shifting - SRAM AXS, Campagnolo EPS and Shimano Di2, or using the Edge 1050 in combination with TACX exercise bikes and much more.

Garmin Connect app
Stay connected and take advantage of the Edge 1050's smart connectivity with your smartphone. You will immediately get access to detailed ride statistics, as well as additional information about the effect of the ride on fitness (FTP / W / other) and your overall health.

Built-in speaker
