The high standard of equipment with a colour touch screen that supports control even when wearing gloves is complemented by new sophisticated functions of physiological metrics - REAL-TIME STAMINA, POWER GUIDE will provide a better overview of achieved and achievable performance goals (W) with a connected wattmeter.With Edge 1040 Plus, you'll always be ready to ride immediately, without unnecessary adjustments. Above all, thanks to the new sophisticated management of settings and data management with detailed data display settings depending on the type of activity (road cycling, MTB, indoor, etc.), connected sensors and also based on popularity. It doesn't matter what kind of cycling you prefer, Edge 1040 will add value to every ride. The new Edge 1040 will provide an extended battery life of up to 35/70 hours with the possibility of external power supply thanks to the optional external battery Garmin charge™ power pack.
