Considering that the local woods, gravel roads and trails are so overcrowded lately, it's not out of the question to have a bell on your bike. Especially one that can be safely activated even in difficult terrain. By placing the bell close to the side of the stem, there is no risk of contact with your knees, etc.

The new generation HideMyBell Insider 2 is equipped with a durable bell lever made of spring steel, and the trigger can be easily operated even with winter gloves. The Insider 2 is a great choice for MTB or gravel bikes, where an external front mount might be less practical in the event of a frontal impact, or when you need to place a race number on the front.
