Garmin HRM-Pro™ Plus heart rate monitor
Garmin HRM-Pro™ Plus heart rate monitor with accelerometer
HRM-Pro™ Plus is a chest belt (heart rate monitor) with an integrated accelerometer for measurements associated with advanced running metrics - Advanced Running Dynamics. When used with another compatible device, Running Dynamics data will not be available and the heart rate monitor will only work as a regular heart rate sensor, for example in connection with Edge devices. The ANT+ wireless interface was supplemented with BLUETOOTH® Low Energy technology. You can use HRM-Pro™ Plus not only with Garmin devices (ANT+) and thanks to Bluetooth, e.g. with a smartphone or a TACX exercise bike. After connecting the heart rate monitor to a compatible Garmin watch, the HRM-Pro™ heart rate monitor will display and evaluate running metrics data in real time:
Running Cadence: the number of steps per minute. The displayed value is the sum of all steps (left and right leg).
Vertical oscillation: value of the “bounce” when bouncing during running. The value of the body's vertical movement is displayed, measured in centimetres, for each step.
Ground contact time: the ground contact time during running for each step. Time is measured in milliseconds.
Advanced Running Dynamics, brings additional complex measurements - stride length, balance of contact time with the ground - L/R leg and vertical ratio
Physiological metrics: VO2max, anaerobic threshold
XC SKI DYNAMICS
By connecting the HRM-Pro™ heart rate monitor to selected Garmin watch models from the fenix® 6, Forerunner® 945, MARQ® series, you gain access to brand-new metrics for cross-country skiing - XC SKI DYNAMICS By connecting the >HRM-Pro™ to a compatible watch*, you gain access to of the special PERFORMANCE metric. The performance metric is very interesting for cross-country runners and helps to understand the variability of performance during training. Unlike other sports (e.g. running) where speed is used as a reference indicator, this cannot be applied to cross-country skiing - due to changing conditions (snow quality), the resulting speed in cross-country skiing can be very variable (with the same performance). Track performance is the best way to track changes in performance compared to heart rate. This provides a reliable overview of the progress achieved during training sessions over a certain period of time. For an optimal setting of the heart rate zones, you simply use the zone setting corresponding to the cycling activities.
Integrated sensors record data about running indoors (without GPS signal, indoor runs), including evaluation of pace and running distance

Improved design for easy battery replacement without the use of tools
|
It works reliably even in a space where there are up to 80 other sensors. No interference.
|
When using the HRM-Pro™ Plus, you can unify the measurement and recording of the pulse not only during running and cycling, but also during swimming (in an indoor pool or open water). During swimming, it “saves” the measured pulse values in the built-in memory (20 hours of recording), where they are ready for immediate synchronization with a compatible watch immediately after surfacing or after training.
|
Construction - the design of the chest belt provides high wearing comfort thanks to the elastic strap, which is now extremely adaptable. The material used is soft to the touch and flexible for reliable application.
|
Training with heart rate monitor : displays heart rate values (bpm) + display in zone range (between zone 1 to 5) - according to the type of device. By setting the target heart rate zone, the device informs about exceeding the set values of the zone range (sound signal)
