A new generation of proven magnetless solution (wireless) sensors for cycling. This package contains both sensors - for cadence and speed, which can be used separately. In addition to the ANT+ interface, Garmin also adds a Bluetooth interface to the second generation of sensors for the free use of sensors with third-party applications and devices. So you don't have to own any other Garmin device to use it, which opens the door for using the sensors, for example, with applications for in-door (stationary) training, such as ZWIFT, Strava, Endomondo, etc.The sensors can be used completely independently of the connected Garmin or other compatible device. In that case, the sensors record the distance travelled and the speed in the internal memory while riding the bike. This recorded data is then synchronized with your Connect Garmin account when you reconnect to the paired device (smartphone).
Speed sensor, which is measured on the rear wheel (hub). Ideal for use when it is not possible to use GPS on your device - e.g. during stationary training or in covered areas (hall). The sensor measures and records: speed, pace and distance.
Sensor of pedalling cadence, which is measured from the crank on the bike (rpm, average cadence, other). The new generation of sensors does not use magnetic sensors, but an integrated (gyroscopic) accelerometer that reliably records every turn of the crank.
