Fenix ARB-L14-1600U Rechargeable USB AA battery
The Fenix ARB-L14-1600U rechargeable battery serves as a replacement for classic AA pencil batteries. Inside, it is a Li-ion cell, which is equipped with control electronics that hold a fixed output voltage of 1.5 V during discharge. The battery is therefore particularly suitable for devices which are sensitive to voltage levels and, for example, do not work properly with rechargeable NiMHs or only for a short time. The battery capacity is 1600 mAh (2.4 Wh, which corresponds to 2000 mAh for NiMH).
The battery is charged only via the built-in micro-USB connector, so it can be charged e.g. from a computer, mobile phone charger, power bank or other USB source. It must not be charged in a conventional charger.
The battery also has a built-in protection against complete discharge and short circuit ( maximum constant discharge current is about 1.6 A ). The battery is therefore suitable, for example, for lamps and headlamps for pencil batteries, for cameras, navigation devices, laboratory devices and other devices. The battery is compatible with Fenix HL23, HL50, E12, E20 headlamps and batteries. It is not compatible with Fenix HM23, LD41 and LD42 (due to too high current consumption in the highest mode).
When using this battery, it must be taken into account that it is not possible to identify the remaining capacity according to the output voltage. The devices can indicate the full capacity of the batteries throughout the operation, but then they suddenly switch off. When the battery is discharged, its voltage suddenly drops from 1.5 V to 0 V.

Charging via micro-USB connector
Connect the USB cable to the side micro-USB connector, the indicator light on the top of the battery lights up red during charging. Glows blue when fully charged.

- Cannot charge in conventional chargers
- Do not short-circuit the battery (do not connect the cell poles with a wire)
- Do not dispose of the battery in fire or water
- Observe safety precautions when using the battery
