Fenix 18650 2600 mAh (Li-ion) rechargeable USB battery
Rechargeable battery Fenix 18650 2600 mAh (L18-2600U) with its own charging mico-USB connector. It can be charged by connecting the cable to the micro-USB connector (e.g. from a computer or mobile phone charger), but also in a classic charger. Li-ion rechargeable batteries are characterized by a very high capacity, they do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge. Li-ion in the size of 18650 are the best choice in terms of stored energy due to the size and weight of the battery.
Tip: to charge a large number of batteries at once, you may want to purchase a quadruple charging micro-USB cable.
Fenix battery protection consists of internal safety mechanisms and protective electronics. The added electronic circuits prevent the cell from being overcharged, its excessive discharge, and against a short circuit or excessively high current consumption. If the battery electronics evaluates reaching the limit values, it safely disconnects the cell.
Internal protection consists of a separator, protection against overheating (PTC thermal protection) and a special anti-explosion valve. If the gas pressure in the cell exceeds a certain limit, the internal separator separates the electrodes inside the battery and thus de-facto interrupts the exothermic reaction, and the anti-explosion valve releases the excess gas pressure outside the battery. Thanks to the combination of electronic and mechanical (temperature and pressure) protection, Fenix batteries are among the safest Li-ion batteries available.
The size of the 18650 accumulator corresponds to roughly two CR123A lithium batteries, which is why it is often used in lights as a rechargeable alternative to these primary cells. Check first if your appliance supports this article. This battery is designed, for example, for operation in LED lamps Fenix E28R, E30R, Fenix E35 UE (not intended for E35 V3.0), PD32 V2.0, PD35, TK11 TAC, TK15, TK16 (only 1000 lm version), TK25 UV, TK25 IR, TK25 Red, TK25 R&B, TK26R, TK75, FD41, LD30, SD11, SD20. Fenix HL55, HL60R, HP25R, HP30R, HM61R, HM65R, HM65R-T LED headlamps, CL26R, CL30R lanterns and Fenix BC21R and BC30 bicycle lights.
Attention, due to the length of 70 mm and the diameter, it may not fit some old models - for example, Fenix PD31, TK11, TK21, TK30, Zebralight, Solarforce.
The battery is also not compatible with the Fenix FD65 model.

Charging via micro-USB connector
Plug the USB cable into the micro-USB connector on the side, the light on the top of the battery lights up red during charging. It lights up blue when fully charged.

Warning
- If you are using an older charger bought before 2014, check first whether it can fit batteries with a length of 69-70 mm.
- If possible, do not discharge the battery below 2.5 V
- Do not short-circuit the battery (do not connect the poles of the cell with a wire)
- Do not throw the battery into fire or water
- Never insert the battery into the charger upside down (opposite polarities)
- When using the accumulator, pay attention to the safety principles
- Use only an adequate charger supporting Li-ion batteries
