woom UP 6 26 children's electric bike

Woom UP 6 is the most technically advanced and sophisticated children's electric bicycle - simply as we are used to with Woom brand bicycles.

It has a super light aluminum frame with hydroformed tubes and a modern geometry with a long wheelbase and a low head tube angle, for maximum stability and wheel adjustability. The compact and light Fazua combined motor unit is integrated into the lower frame tube and can be removed as a complete set (weighing 3.3 kg) and with the battery if necessary. The motor provides a natural driving feel without any pedaling resistance. In addition to the modern geometry of the frame, comfort and control in the most difficult terrain is guaranteed by the excellent running Woom Air air fork with a stroke of 90 mm and the possibility of regulating rebound and locking from the crown. Shifting is handled by an eleven-speed Sram NX set, and safety is ensured by Promax Solve ST hydraulic disc brakes with short levers for children's fingers. Light and stiff wheels from Woom's own production are shod in wide Schwalbe Rocket Ron 26x2.35 tires in Addix Speed compound.

Woom UP 6 is an ideal companion for children who do not want to stay at home when their parents ride a bike and at the same time will not limit adult riders in terms of mileage and terrain profile.

Aluminium frame

Lighter, relatively durable and stiff material that is affordable. The most widespread material for the production of bicycle frames.

26” wheels

This wheel size is used on sports models for older children, affordable bikes or city bikes. Their advantage is the lower weight and greater dexterity. There is lower availability of tyres for different terrain.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.

Air fork

The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.

Due to long-term issues with the supply of components, some manufacturers exceptionally approach changes of installed components contrary to the specification without letting us know. Unfortunately, it is not in our power to go through each bike and verify the differences between the manufacturer's stated components and its actual equipment. Alternative parts should meet the same standards as the original. We apologise for any discrepancies.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
