In addition, they add increased ankle protection (also reinforced with D3O ankle elements) and greater foot support thanks to a higher ankle construction, along with a wide Powerstrap Velcro stabilization strap over the laces.
The choice of materials and construction is adapted to use in harsher conditions in humid weather. Everything is fine-tuned down to the smallest detail, whether it is a special construction that minimizes the number of seams needed (and therefore places where moisture can penetrate), special durable protective elements at the front and rear, special water-repellent surface treatment, tongue gussets that prevent dirt penetration and moisture, or, for example, captured oval cord eyelets, which reduce the space for possible moisture penetration.
When driving, you will appreciate that they fit perfectly on your feet, ventilate, are firm and at the same time very comfortable. The compound used for the sole is developed in collaboration with the cult company Rubber Kinetics (Good Year) and, according to independent media tests, fully competes with the top in the industry. They also appreciate the Hexagon sole design, which is differently tuned for each shoe model and use, down to the smallest detail, including the width of the gaps.
The sole with EVA midsole in combination with protective elements on the toe and heel complemented by a unique insole with hi-tech D3O elements protects the feet from bumps and abrasions. Simply elite shoes for racing use even in the most demanding conditions.
