Maximum grip on the pedal is ensured not only by the DST 4.0 MAX GRIP racing sole compound, but also by the optimized hexagonal pattern, which in TNT has wider (14 mm) and higher elements and is therefore best suited for pedals with longer pins.
They offer highly superior equipment (including unique D3O protective elements from below and on the ankle), durability, top design and uncompromising quality. The protection of the foot is also ensured by integrated protective parts on the toe and heel supplemented by TPP medial midsole protector, midsole with a higher absorption layer.
In addition, they add increased ankle protection (also reinforced with D3O ankle elements) and greater foot support thanks to a higher asymmetrical ankle construction, along with a wide 40mm Powerstrap stabilization strap for velcro over the laces.
The choice of materials and construction are adapted to use in harsher conditions even in wet weather. Everything is fine-tuned to the smallest detail, whether it is a special construction that minimizes the number of necessary seams (and therefore places where moisture can penetrate), special resistant protective elements at the front and back, a special water-repellent surface treatment, tongue gussets that prevent the penetration of dirt and moisture, or, for example, oval eyelets for the passage of laces, which reduce the space for possible penetration of moisture.
When riding, you will appreciate that they sit perfectly on the leg, ventilate, are firm and at the same time very comfortable. The compound used for the sole is developed in cooperation with the cult company Rubber Kinetics (Good Year) and, according to independent media tests, fully competes with the top in the field. They also appreciate the Hexagon pattern of the sole, which is tuned differently for each shoe model and use, down to the smallest details, including the width of the gaps.
The sole with EVA midsole in combination with protective elements on the toe and heel supplemented with a unique insole with hi-tech D3O elements will protect the feet from impacts and rebounds. Simply elite shoes for racing use even in the most demanding conditions.
