Every useful watt of energy generated during cycling is transferred to the bike through the feet. When the plantar fascia is properly supported, the medial arch stiffens, allowing for efficient force transmission. For this reason, providing adjustable arch support is vital to both comfort and performance in competitive cycling shoes.
The Dynamic Arch Support 2.0 system is a fully integrated feature of the new carbon soles, with a dedicated part of the upper that wraps around the arch for better support while adapting to the shape of each rider's foot.
Volume control system
The Volume Control system allows a differentiated fit for both the instep and the forefoot area – the shape and volume of which can vary greatly between riders. By operating two separate BOA® dials, cyclists can fine-tune the fit of the shoe to their unique foot shape, ensuring maximum performance and support thanks to the new Li2 Dual Zone BOA® Fit System configuration with a smaller dial diameter and a lower, more aerodynamic profile.
Comfortable laminated upper
The upper of the shoe is made of a flexible polyurethane laminated material combined with a comfortable mesh, which results in reduced yield and provides long-lasting foot support where it is most needed.
Carbon fiber sole
Everything in this innovative racing shoe is designed for perfect power transfer, from the advanced fit features to the new sole: a carbon fiber layup that saves weight and provides increased stiffness; with an index of 10, this sole is the stiffest in the fizik line.
Optimizes pedaling efficiency
A wide vent and deep internal channels provide cooling air flow for better temperature regulation. The stop position is moved slightly further back than traditional setups to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, which is particularly suitable for very aggressive aero riding positions.
