ENVE Alloy Mountain stem, Ø-35 mm
Alloy Mountain is a 3D forged and then precisely machined lightweight aluminum stem for a mountain bike, produced for both 31.8 mm and 35.0 mm diameters, intended for cross country, trail, all-mountain, enduro and gravity disciplines.
- The success of Enve carbon parts depends precisely on the ability to precisely machine the aluminum and steel molds in which Enve carbon rims and components are produced.
- Enve were actually machining aluminum and steel long before they ever pulled a carbon part out of the mold. Accuracy, precision and durability are the key ingredients to making an aluminum mold for carbon parts, and they are the same ingredients needed to make a premium aluminum mountain bike stem.
- Enve's goal for the Alloy Mountain Stem was a product defined by strength, light weight, ride quality and aesthetics. The result is an incredibly strong and reliable stem, only a fraction of the weight of carbon, but lighter than most premium alloy stems on the market.
