The FSA SMR - Smart Cable Routing - system is designed based on a versatile stem and head assembly combination that allows for a variety of integrated and semi-integrated cable routing. The SMR system leverages FSA's core knowledge base of head assemblies as well as cockpit components and provides a plug-in solution for bike brands that want to run cables, wiring and hoses internally from the cockpit to the frame. Compatible with electronic and mechanical shifting plus hydraulic and mechanical braking, the SMR system is truly the most versatile and adaptable cable management solution available on the market. The SMR stem is adaptable for full internal cabling from the handlebars through the stem and headset to the frame or in a semi-integrated route with cables, wires and hoses routed under the stem and held by the SMR housing. While providing a sleek and aerodynamic shield, the adjustable length fairing also allows routing without removing the stem and provides the basis for a variety of handlebar choices.
