The shock absorber of the CRX/URB 70 S suspension seatpost will completely reduce all small vibrations and minor bumps. It also helps absorb sharp impacts with larger bumps or larger obstacles. It brings a comfortable ride to an otherwise inhospitable terrain. Forged head and hardened aluminum provide sufficient strength to withstand even the most difficult conditions. Created primarily for riding in the style of Cross and Trekking/Touring, but also perfectly suited to urban environments for riders with a maximum weight of 65 kg. Adjusting the stiffness of the suspension is possible using the Allen screw on the lower part of the seat post. When the screw is tightened, the suspension is stiffer and therefore more suitable for heavier riders, and conversely, when it is loosened, the suspension is adapted for lighter riders.
• Aluminum 6061 is commonly used in structural parts of yachts, car chassis, or even pressure cylinder divers. This aluminum alloy is made to withstand high pressures.
• Forged – a block of heated aluminum is forged and pressed into the desired form. The result is a stronger material that can withstand higher loads.
• T6 – processing of the material through the ripening process in cycles of specific conditions, to achieve a significantly higher hardness. Also known as "Indulgence"
