Fizik has come up with the ADAPTIVE saddle - Antares Versus Evo 00 - this saddle made with Digital Light Synthesis technology in collaboration with Carbon from San Francisco has everything you need in the right place and everything works to make every centimeter of the saddle just the right amount of comfort and at the same time transmitted power when pedaling. The saddle pad is made from one piece and offers different levels of comfort or pedaling support. 3D printing is here.
The development of 3D printing made it possible to develop a new saddle without the limitations that appear in the design and production of classic saddles with a traditional production process. The Adaptive saddle pad was developed by San Francisco company Carbon using revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. Thanks to 3D printing, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones of the saddle and tune each one separately for specific mechanical properties.
The wider, shorter and slightly curved shell of the Antares saddle offers great support and comfort for riders with moderate spinal flexibility. It fits exactly between two other "A" saddles: Arione and Aliante. The saddle of Alejandro Valverde, Nair Quintana, Greg Van Avermaet or Chris Froome.
