CeramicSpeed OSPW X ALPHA derailleur arm, SRAM Eagle Transmission Special Edition, gold
With FURTHER DRIVE technology – consisting of two new technical features, both of which are aimed at OSPW X strengthening the Transmission group's ability to operate efficiently over the long term. Active Debris Remover (ADR) feature – a unique new dust cover design that is securely anchored in a recess in the pulley wheel, completely surrounding the bearing. This is paired with a vane groove structure that surrounds the dust cover and dynamically removes debris from the pulley wheel as it rotates. The ADR is paired with our new 14- and 20-tooth fixed-disc wheels, simply known as ALPHA. The ALPHA Disc has a two-piece construction. A separate narrow tooth profile made of composite material that offers long-term wear protection and noise reduction. As well as a solid aluminum disc that eliminates the potential for foreign objects to become trapped between the spokes of the pulley wheel, while adding strength and rigidity to the pulley wheel design. FURTHER DRIVE technology is combined with an all-new cage structure utilizing increased material structure – without adding unnecessary bulk – making it perfectly in line with the robustness for which the Eagle Transmission group is celebrated. But the real value is found in FURTHER DRIVE technology's ability to deliver peak performance deep into a race or season when riders need it most. Now faster and faster – The test of time. Note: While the cage mounting interface is visually identical between SRAM Transmission derailleurs and the new SRAM RED XPLR 13-speed derailleur, the pulley placement and cage rotation are different and we do not support the use of this cage on any XPLR derailleurs.
